Do you offer trial sessions for bridal makeup?
I use a variety of high quality, professional grade makeup brands known for their performance and safety on the skin. Some of the brands I frequently use in my kit include MAC, BOBBI BROWN, CHARLOTTE TILBURY and BENEFIT among others. The makeup will last extremely well due to high grade products and techniques applied.
Yes, I highly recommend trial sessions for bridal makeup. It allows us to discuss and create your desired bridal look, ensuring everything is perfect for your special day.

Do you provide makeup and/or hair services for photoshoots or editorial work?

What if I have allergies or sensitive skin?
Absolutely! I offer makeup and hair services for various occasions, including photoshoots, editorial work, fashion shows, and more. Please provide details about the event or project during the booking process.
Please let me know about any allergies or skin sensitivities as early as possible, ideally when you first get in touch. I use professional grade products, sanitise all brushes and tools between every client, and can swap in hypoallergenic alternatives where needed. For clients with more serious sensitivities, a patch test can be arranged before the appointment so you can book with full peace of mind.

How far in advance should I book for my wedding or special event?

Can you accommodate large bridal parties or group makeup sessions?
It's advisable to book your makeup appointment as early as possible, especially for weddings and major events. Ideally for bridal, book at least 1 year in advance to secure your preferred date and time. However, I do take on bookings at late notice if I have an available appointment.
Yes, I can accommodate both individual clients and large bridal parties. Please inform me of the number of people requiring makeup services, and I'll make the necessary arrangements.

Can you travel to my location for makeup and/or hair services?
Yes, I offer on location makeup and hair services for your convenience. Travel fees will apply.

Policies
As a professional makeup artist/hair stylist, I strive to provide the best possible service to all my clients. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for both parties, please take note of the following terms and conditions:

Bookings and Cancellation Policy:

A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment date and time.

If the full payment has been made cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled appointment will not be refundable, but can be rescheduled.

Rescheduling can be accommodated based on availability and must be communicated at least 7 days in advance.

The final payment invoice will be sent out around one week prior to the event.

Preparation for Services:

Clients are advised to arrive on time for their appointment to allow sufficient time for the makeup application.

If you arrive more than 20 minutes late your appointment I will do my best to still go ahead with the appointment; however, I may be back-to-back and unable to complete. Therefore, the appointment will be canceled.

Please come to the appointment with a clean face, free of any makeup residue

Trial Sessions:

Trial sessions are recommended for bridal makeup services, It is recommended to have a trial around two to three months prior to their wedding day. Trials are to take place ideally on a weekday. ​

Product Usage and Allergies:

I use high-quality, professional grade makeup products for all services.

All my products and tools are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised prior to the service, as well as during the service for a multi-person event.

Clients are responsible to inform me of any allergies or sensitivities to specific makeup products or ingredients to ensure a safe and comfortable experience.

I, as the makeup artist, cannot be held responsible for any allergic reactions to products unless they arise from a sanitation issue.

Payment Terms:

The remaining balance for services is due on the day of the appointment or before, preferably in cash or via electronic payment methods.

Any additional services requested on the day of the appointment will be charged accordingly.

Photography and Social Media:

I may request to take photographs and videos of the process and completed makeup look for my portfolio and social media channels. Clients have the option to decline or request privacy.

Clients are welcome to share their photos on social media platforms, tagging @lucypaigeartistry and providing credit for the makeup/hair services.

Satisfaction Guarantee:

I strive to ensure that every client is satisfied with their makeup look. If there are any concerns or adjustments needed, please communicate them during the appointment, and I will do my best to accommodate your requests.

I take every booking seriously, and cancelling on a client is something I would never do lightly.
The only reason I would ever need to cancel is a serious health condition or illness that genuinely prevents me from delivering your service. In that very rare event, I would let you know as soon as possible. -
Any payments would be refunded in full, or applied to a new date that suits you.

For weddings and bridal bookings where rescheduling isn't an option, I would do everything I can to find a replacement makeup artist with a similar style to mine, so your day still feels seamless.
